JoCo Tech & AI ("we") is a free community group in Johnston County, NC. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the community, and we never sell your information. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Your email address, only if you choose to join our mailing list or email us — so we can send meetup announcements you asked for or reply to you.
• Anything you send us when you email a talk pitch, volunteer note, or sponsorship inquiry.
• Event RSVPs are handled by Luma, a third-party service. When you RSVP, your information is collected and stored by Luma under their privacy policy, not ours.

Cookies & tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics that follow you around the web. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and add a cookie-consent notice.

How we use your information

Only to communicate with you about JoCo Tech & AI — meetup announcements, replies to your messages, and community updates. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

Who we share it with

We don't share your personal information except with the service providers that help us operate — for example, our email or hosting provider, or Luma for event RSVPs. They only process data on our behalf.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask us to delete your information by emailing jmcclure@arsinnovate.com.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the community grows; we'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
